Can you VAPE VITAMINS?!Is it a Gimmick?

hey how's it going everyone dave here from dash vapes and today we're going to be talking about vitamin vapes [Music] now vaping vitamins may seem kind of like a weird thing to do however it's been on the market for quite a while now first introduced roughly around i want to say 2010 to 2011 we didn't start seeing kind of any traction until roughly about 2015 to 2016. but it then took a very abrupt stop a handful of companies are trying to bring back the whole vitamin vape scene throwing up ads on apps such as tick tock which in turn have people extremely curious about it now before we dive any deeper into the whole world of vaping vitamins be sure to hit the subscribe button down below and hit the little bell to stay up to date with our latest videos again vitamin vapes had a pretty quiet start but started getting traction around 2015 to 2016 with various vitamins such as vitamin b12 and caffeine now i specifically remember seeing a handful of eliquids at past expo shows that were said to have caffeine in them but um i was quite skeptical instead of purchasing a bottle i kind of waited until some reviews surfaced on these e-liquids and it turns out it was mostly just the placebo effect however that did not stop a lot of companies from marketing the hell out of this product i started seeing more and more ads for various disposable devices packed with different vitamins that you could vape and their claim was that it gets absorbed at a much more efficient rate than simply taking a pill now the big issue with vaping vitamins is that there's just so much variation that it gets a little confusing let's first talk about something like say a caffeine vape say if you wanted to feel a caffeine kick that's on par with a cup of coffee you would have to intake about 90 to 100 milligrams of caffeine 90 to 100 milligrams to be inhaled in a vape is extremely difficult to do considering even a 50 milligram per milliliter concentration of nicotine is considered extremely high even if you had a concentration of 100 milligrams per milliliter of caffeine in an e-liquid you would have to vape an entire milliliter in order to feel the same effects which unless you have a giant box mod that emits plumes of vapor would be a pretty hard task now this overall formula can also be attached to other vitamin vapes out there and one that i've been seeing a lot of lately are melatonin vapes these little devices contain melatonin lavender and other ingredients to aid in sleeping the website claims that they emit about 0.5 milligrams of melatonin per puff looking at the typical dosage for melatonin in pill form you need to absorb about 4 to 10 milligrams of melatonin in order to feel its effects that would roughly equal about 8 to 20 pulls on this melatonin vape which in reality really isn't all that far-fetched but then you start seeing the prices of these devices for a single disposable device and i know for a fact that these are the typical little chinese devices we've seen many times across a vaping industry but for a single device it's 20 plus shipping i mean considering that you could just get the regular pill form of melatonin in much higher quantities for a much lower price it's pretty much a no-brainer unless you can't really take pills but i guess in that case you just kind of get the gummies so but my point is is that there's very little information surrounding this whole world of vitamin vaping some of them very well might work but i can't help but feel like a lot of them will succumb to the placebo effect a lot of times the amount you would need to vape in order to feel any sort of effect would be extremely hard to achieve in a single sitting without some abnormally strong concentration now don't get me wrong i think the idea of vaping vitamins is awesome i mean if i could also be in taking vitamins with something i do every day anyways that would be awesome but there simply just isn't enough information and research done on vitamin vapes in order to pass it as a plausible means to vitamin supplements now have you heard of these vitamin vapes or have you ever tried one yourself if so then let me know your overall experience by leaving a comment down below as i'd love to know your experience on them and that pretty much wraps up today's video if you like this video please be sure that like button down below and hit subscribe to stay up to date with our latest video also stay tuned for our friday video we're going to be reviewing the ul caliburn g which has been something a lot of people have been anxiously waiting for we just got in our full stock of calibring g's as of maybe like two hours ago so uh still in the review process but again stay tuned for that as always i'm dave from dash vapes and i'll see you in the next video
